We hope you can get at least a hint of the charm and beauty of the
villages in the Apokoronas area from these pages.
Apokoronas starts east of Souda and stretches out as far as
Georgioupolis. To the north is the Gulf of Almerida, Georgioupolis
Bay is on the east. The majestic White Mountains form its southern
border. Apokoronas is considered to be Crete's most beautiful and
exotic region.
