Located in a quiet, countryside location but just a few minutes easy walk to the village Square and bus station, this single storey house built is a traditional style with wood beamed ceilings, wooden shuttered windows, stone walls and terracotta tiled floors. With a private swimming pool, garden area and breath-taking views to the sea and mountains this is the prefect place for long term living .

The house has been furnished in a traditional style to reflect the architecture of the house, and is fully equipped from towels, books, games and CD’s; you can arrive with your toothbrush and start your stay immediately!

Inside:

From the gravelled, off road parking area, you walk up a few steps to the covered terrace and enter into the open lounge/dining area. To the left is the well equipped kitchen.

From the lounge, off the hallway is:

The double bedroom with air conditioning unit, wooden floor and French doors to the terrace.

The family bathroom with bath tub, tiled in a cool, pale mint and cream scheme.

Outside: The house is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac, the back of the house faces the large parking area.  The front of the house faces over the raised swimming pool and terrace area, with the rest of the garden left to nature.  The open views to the sea and mountains are magnificent, giving a feeling of privacy without isolation.

The village of Vamos is ever popular, with the bus station and many amenities including the health centre, Town Hall and area police station close by. A car would not be necessary here, and the village has a very colourful and interesting history and feels timeless: sit in the village square with the locals, drinking an iced frappe as you watch the world go by, or buy fresh vegetables, fruit or locally made cheeses from the back of a pick up truck driven down by farmers from neighbouring villages. Immerse your self in the culture and lifestyle of Crete whilst enjoying all the modern conveniences (the house has central heating & log burning stove for the cooler winter evenings). Pets welcome.
